Isabella Cotto
Isabella “Bella” Cotto has been passionate about the beauty industry since beginning beauty school in 2013. Over the years, she has built a career specializing in customized color services, with a particular love for blonding and creating effortless, lived-in hair tailored to each client.
Bella was honored with the opportunity to take over the salon from previous owner Robb, continuing its vision as a warm, welcoming space where clients can feel at home while receiving exceptional service. She was also recognized as Young Professional of the Year for her dedication to both her craft and her community.
Since July 2024, Bella has also served on the Foundation Board through the Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce Foundation, where she has been a strong vocational voice on the board. The foundation supports local students by awarding academic and vocational scholarships to area high schools, hosts an annual golf fundraiser to benefit the scholarship program, and operates workforce incubator initiatives that support tourism and economic growth in Peekskill.
Outside the salon, Bella enjoys spending time with her husband, Christian, and their two cats, Arya and Bran. In her downtime, she loves practicing Pilates and yoga, often while listening to her favorite true crime podcasts.
Janis Hayes
Janis has an amazing sense of style and color. She comes with 10 years of hair experience behind the chair. Janis has a knack with people - when asked what her favorite part about being a stylist is, she says the people. Meeting clients, forming relationships, and having conversations about their life and hair dreams. She loves bringing those hair dreams to life, whether it’s color, a cut, or maybe a chemical
process. Don’t be surprised if after your first visit you will hear “I’ve been thinking about you since I last saw you and here are my thoughts”
Continued education is the key to success! Janis is always taking classes to enhance her client’s experience, and is always willing to try new hairstyles and color products. The hair industry is an ever changing business and keeping up with trends is not only a necessity - it’s a joy!
While being a stylist was always her dream, life took her on a different path. A northern Maine native, Janis spent 15 years in the New York City garment district as a buyer. After some twists and turns, she went back to school to pursue her cosmetology degree. From that point on, it has been pure enjoyment!

Lily Fraser
Lily graduated cosmetology school in 2024 and is starting her career as a hairdresser.
Connecting to and uplifting the people around her is what drives her love for the hair and service industry. Learning from Bella and Janis has only made every hair endeavor more exciting to Lily!
When she is not in the salon with her hair family, she is at the gym, trying new foods, or spending time with her family.
